About NEW Terra
Handmade in Southern Spain, the NEW Terra collection is a tribute to raw clay material and its organic nature.
This lamp is a union of craftsmanship and industrialisation. Combining tradition and innovation with functionality at the forefront, Terra is made up of three modules of different sizes: a large head and two smaller pieces for the foot.
Terra’s textures, are reminiscent of the material in its natural, original state. The first texture 'Sand' is slightly rough. The second texture, 'Carve' made up of small rectangular marks, were sculpted by hand and then copied with a mould. The third texture, 'Lines' is marked by an irregular rhythm of fine lines, first sculpted by hand and then reproduced by 3D printing.

Designed by Luis Eslava
Founder of Luis Eslava Studio, combines his professional practice with his position as Head of Product Design in undergraduate and Postgraduate programs. He focuses his research and development on the creative process, the materiality of objects and the bridge between craftsmanship and industrial processes.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to receive my order?
If it's in stock, we aim to dispatch within 7 to 10 business days of payment. If it's not in stock, lead time is approximately 12 to 16 weeks from deposit, and we'll keep you updated along the way.
How do I know what size is right for my space?
This is our favourite question. It depends on the size of the room and what's under the light, a table, a kitchen bench, or open space people walk through. Email us your house plans, photos or rough dimensions and we'll come back with a recommendation.
Do you allow returns?
Yes, for standard pieces. If you change your mind, contact us within 14 days of receiving your item and we'll arrange a return and refund. The piece needs to come back in its original packaging, with return shipping covered by you, and the refund is issued once it arrives back in perfect condition. Bespoke pieces made specifically for you can't be returned.
How much is shipping?
Shipping varies by size and destination, and we subsidise the freight to keep it affordable. You'll see the price in the Shipping + Delivery tab or at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
We ship klaylife pieces all over the world. POTT is more delicate, so we handle international orders for those case by case. If you're outside Australia or NZ, get in touch and we'll sort out the next steps together.
I'm still building or renovating. Can I place a deposit to reserve a piece?
Absolutely. Secure your piece with a 50% deposit and it goes into the next production run. We'll let you know the moment it arrives, and the balance plus freight is due before dispatch. And if you're still mid-renovation when it lands, we're happy to hold it in our warehouse until you're ready to receive it.
Can I speak to someone before I buy?
Is there a warranty?
klaylife lighting is covered by a 12 month warranty against manufacturing faults and defects. Please note that because our lighting is handmade, there will always be some variation in size, shape, colour and finish of the klaylife beads and components. These minor variations are part of the charm of a handmade product and are not manufacturing faults. If faults and defects do arise, please see our formal warranty statement. klaylife, where possible, will also endeavour to have the fault or defect attended to on site so as to minimise any inconvenience. This however will be at the discretion of klaylife.
