Hand rolled beads
Each clay bead is hand rolled, kiln fired, then dip dyed before being individually strung onto a wrought iron frame.
Designed and made by women
A community based project, head designer Merewyn Rossouw and a team of local women harness their natural talents, embracing the beauty of imperfection. Clay is distributed into the communities where our ladies can hand roll the beads. They carry the fingerprints and that is why we like to call them “perfectly imperfect”.
Handmade in Africa
Designed for the world, handmade in Africa by a beautiful community in Kwazulu Natal, Midlands, South Africa.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to receive my order?
If your item is in stock, we aim to dispatch within 3-5 business days from time of payment. If it's urgent, just let us know and we will aim to dispatch quicker or express post for an additional charge
What is the returns policy?
Jewellery is a final sale, so please choose carefully. Due to health regulations and the handmade nature of our clay beads, we are unable to offer change of mind returns or exchanges on any jewellery. If your piece arrives faulty or damaged, contact us and we will make it right.
What are the earring posts made from?
Earrings are made with sterling silver posts. Other metal components are made from brass (either oxidised silver, silver, gold or rose gold plating).
How do I care for my jewellery?
When not in use, lay your jewellery flat in its box to maintain shape, minimise stretch and reduce exposure to moisture and dust. Take great care when handling your beads as they are made from natural materials that are porous. Exposure to air and moisture can cause the metal to tarnish. Rub the surface gently with a polishing cloth to remove tarnishing.
