Returns policy

 

Shipping is calculated at check out and is based on metro locations. If you are regional, we will contact you post sale with final shipping cost. Should you not accept we will provide a full refund.

For XL pendants, freight is POA and varies according to location. Contact us for a quote prior to purchase. Or once purchase is made, we will revert with a shipping fee. Should you not accept we will provide a full refund.

If the item is in stock, we aim to dispatch within 7-10 business days from time of payment and provide tracking details upon dispatch. 

 

For customers based outside of Australia, please contact us for a freight quote.

We send our chandeliers/pendants either direct to your door using fully insured air/sea freight or to your closest International Airport* on a CIP basis (Cost, Insurance and Passage). A comparison quote can be sent to you for you to assess prior to purchase. 

Should you decide to send the goods to your closest port, you, the buyer are responsible for all arrival charges. 

Price of item does not include local duties and taxes if applicable.

The amount quoted for freight may vary depending on the prevailing rates at the time of despatch.


klaylife provide an approximate lead time for the receipt of your order, based on current manufacturing and shipping times at time of purchase.
Circumstances may change beyond our control which may lead to a delay in your order being delivered on quoted ETA. Deliveries can be delayed due to changes in shipping schedules, carrier delays and raw material shortages. klaylife do not offer cancellations or refunds due to delays.

Returns Policy & Refunds


  1. We accept change of mind returns for within 7 days of receipt of purchase.
  2. Please email info@klaylife.com to request refund or exchange.
  3. Item to be returned in perfect unused condition and in original packaging.
  4. Given we are a small business, we cannot cover freight for change of mind returns.
  5. If damage is incurred by a courier in the return process, klaylife cannot be held liable and refund / exchange will not be issued.
  6. Once item is received and inspected, a refund will be applied.

About Klaylife Hand Felted Floor Basket

Introducing our new range of cushions, baskets + vessels, all handmade with love in Africa by a talented group of artisans.

Our Floor Basket is large and delicious and comes with genuine leather handles. Hand felted using Karakul wool with kid wool yarn, these oversized baskets are perfect for storing blankets, toys or purely for decoration.

The entire process of making our baskets is done by hand, from dyeing through to felting thus enhancing its organic appearance and tactile sense. We employ women with no formal education from disadvantaged communities, providing training and employment governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and the relevant Acts.

Hand made, every step of the way.

Drawing on African heritage and craftsmanship, our felt range is created entirely by hand, from dying through to felting. As a result, each piece is as unique as the artisan who made it. 

Designed and made by women

A community based project, head designer Razaan Jakoet experiments with dyes and various fibres and is constantly inspired by the South African landscape and its diverse cultures. Razaan designs all the products before handing over the felting to women that she trains at her studio in Cape Town, South Africa.
